Carol Padgett Hortman

Services for Carol Louise Hortman, 63, of Marshall, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at the chapel of Downs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Craig Lacy and Chaplain David Badders officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Hortman died January 2, 2010, in Longview.

Born January 17, 1946, in Marshall, she retired in 2005 from BICC after more than 30 years of service and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Leonard "Pudgy" Hortman; daughters, Michelle Hortman Petty and Sherry Hortman Hall; brother, Norman Padgett; and sister, Mary Beth Dupree.
