A graveside service for Wilma Nell Jones, 78, of October 27, 1946, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home. 

Wilma was born on October 27, 1946, in Queen City, Texas to Raymond David Doss and Marjorie Powell Doss and passed away on March 1, 2025, in Longview, Texas.

She was a member of Port Caddo Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Harrison County Garden Club and a member of Tops. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marjorie Doss and her husband, Larry Jones.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Jones and Stephanie McAlhany and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Robert McAlhany, III, Declan McAlhany and Lachlan McAlhany along with other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Heartsway Hospice.
