In Memory

Judy Hayner/Nash

Judy Anita Hayner Nash (lovingly known as JuJu), 76, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2024.

Judy was born to Hugh and Betty Hayner on August 5, 1947, in Marshall, TX. She grew up in Karnack, TX and graduated from Marshall High School in 1964, a year early, in order to go to nursing school. She was a compassionate and wonderful nurse for 45 years. After nursing school, she married and had two children, whom she cherished her whole life. Later in life, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Nash. They married and she gained two bonus children. She enjoyed many things in life. The two things she loved the most were her family and working in her flower garden. She had an amazing green thumb. She loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids like no other and was proud of each and every one of them. She was famous for her lemon ice box pie and sour cream pound cake. She was a very caring and loyal friend; many she considered her extended family. Judy had a love for Jesus that was unwavering and she never failed to share his love with others on a daily basis.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Nash, as well as, her parents, Hugh and Betty Hayner.

She leaves behind her cherished children, son and daughter in law, Dennis and Patti Heath, her daughter and son in law, Michele and Billy Hunt, her bonus children, Michele and Doug Kriegel, Michael Nash and Kim Runyan; adoring grandchildren, Shane and Meagan Heath, Taylor and TJ Lemmon, Lane Hunt, Hannah Hunt, Addyson Hunt; great grandchildren, Taytum and Hayes Heath. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, brother, Mike Hayner, her sister, Debbie Hayner Erwin and partner, Donnie Tidwell. Along with numerous other bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, grand dog Caddo (whom she treated like a human) and great grand dog Jax.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to St. Jude Hospital in her name. She donated to St. Jude every year for many years.
